The Federal Medical Centre Gusau has been recognised for its excellent dedication to staff development, winning a Certificate of Excellence in Human Capital Development from Nigeria's Industrial Training Fund (ITF).
Dr. Bello A. Mohammed Kotorkoshi, Medical Director of the Centre, received the award on behalf of the management and staff thanking the ITF for the recognition.
"This success demonstrates the center's commitment to investing in its employees, ensuring they have the required skills and expertise to offer outstanding healthcare services," Dr. Bello said.
The Medical Director pointed out that the award will serve as an encouragement to continue prioritising staff development, ensuring that the hospital remains a hub for high-quality healthcare services.
Presenting the award on behalf of director general of ITF, Dr. Afiz Oluwatoyin Ogun, the ITF area manager of Zamfara, Aliyu Mohammed, explained how they have recognised the outstanding performance of the Medical Director, Dr. Bello A Mohammed.
The Federal Medical Centre, Gusau has continually proved its dedication to staff development by offering a variety of training programs, workshops, and capacity-building activities.
This award recognises the centre's commitment to excellence in healthcare service delivery, and it is a proud occasion for the whole FMC Gusau community.
The FMC GUSAU BULLETIN has learned that the Centre's management and staff are overwhelmed with this accomplishment and desire to continue working with the ITF to further staff development.
The award ceremony was attended by the Top Management Committee (TMC) members from the Hospital, and it provided an opportunity for the centre to ultimately benefit the community it serves.
